Roath and Cathays Neighbourhood Policing Team Message

Dear Residents

You may well have noticed a heightened Police presence in your neighbourhood over recent days. Members of your neighbourhood policing team are increasing patrols in response to incidents of anti social behaviour over the last weekend.

Officers on horseback, bicycle, in plain clothes and on foot wearing high visibility clothing are patrolling the area to reassure the community and also to identify and apprehend offenders. These heightened patrols will continue for the next few weeks.

If you have any information in relation to persons committing damage or behaving in an anti social manner please contact your local officers via their contact numbers on www.ourbobby.com :

Alternatively contact 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Your local officers are also working with our partner agencies to ensure that quality of life issues are addressed promptly and that together we achieve the highest levels of achievement in respect of community issues. This work includes removal of graffiti and fly tipped materials, as well as issues raised by community members at PACT meetings.

Please feel free to speak to any patrolling officer about issues of concern, or problems that you may wish to discuss.

Thank you for your support in working together to improve our community.

Police Sergeant Alun Ifor Williams
